Our voice services are available with no set up or monthly fees.


Caller Identification: Caller Number Display

Caller Number Display service displays the number of the caller, so you always know who is calling before you answer.

This is a free service and is available to all Wataniya customers by default.


Call Waiting

Call Waiting allows you to receive another call while you are engaged in a call. When you are on a call you will hear a ‘beep’ sound indicating that another call is waiting. The number of the second person will appear on the screen and you can choose to put on hold the first call and switch to the second call or connect all calls in a conference call.

You can turn off or turn on Call Waiting from your handset’s Call setting options. Check your handset manual for details. This is a free service and is available to all Wataniya customers by default.


Call Hold

Call Hold enables you to put an existing call on hold, dial someone else, and once the second person is connected, to switch between the two or connect all calls as in a conference call.

This is a free service and is available to all Wataniya customers by default.


Call Forwarding/Call Divert

Call forward enables you to forward a call you receive, to any number you want. You can forward your calls to any other number you want including numbers like Voice Mail (602) or Missed Call Alert (603).

There is no activation or monthly charge for this service. You will only be charged for the calls that you have forwarded to any particular number. The forwarded calls will be treated as normal calls from your mobile to that number. But if the call is forwarded to Missed Call Alert (603) or Voice Mail (602), it will be free of charge since both the services are for free.

Conditions you can forward your calls are:

  • Call forward All Voice Calls

  • Call forward Out of Reach

  • Call forward No Reply

  • Call forward Busy

You can forward a call for any of the above conditions from your handset’s Call Forward options (some handsets refer to it as Call Divert options)


Call Conferencing

Call Conference is a service which enables you to speak with more than 1 person at the same time. With Call Conference you can connect up to 5 other people in the same call.

There is no activation or monthly charge for this service and there is no charge to setup a conference call. You only have to pay for the calls you started. These calls will be treated as normal calls.


Missed Call Alert

Missed Call Alert service allows you to get a text message notification of the people who calls you while you are unavailable.

Wataniya Missed Call Alert service has been enhanced with an additional information text (short advertisement) of a Wataniya Product/Service or Promotion

This is also a free service available to all Wataniya customers by default. 

Missed Call Alert is set by default when your handset is switched off or out of range. You can also set Missed Call Alert for other call forward conditions by forwarding the calls to 603.


Call-Me-Back

Low on credit? Send a message to any local number asking them to call you back - the message is free. To send a ‘Call-me-back’ message from your mobile: *100*<Number>#

For example if you want 9613929 to call you back, key in *100*9613929# followed by the call button. The person you’ve asked to call you back will receive a message asking them to call your number.

You are not charged for any ‘Call-me-back’ message you send - they’re FREE!


Voicemail

Voice Mail allows your callers to leave a voice message when you are unavailable. This service is available for all Wataniya customers.

There is no setup or monthly charge. Retrieval of messages is free when you are calling from your Wataniya number.

Call 600 and customize your mailbox with your own password, personal greeting and mailbox name. You’ll then need to change the Call Forward option to the Voice Mail divert number 602.

With Voicemail you won't have to miss a call anymore.

  • Even if your handset is off, out of range, or busy, you will still be reachable.

  • Callers will be able to reach your personal mailbox where they can leave you a message. 

  • You can listen to all your messages at your convenience.

There's no monthly or setup fee. If you're calling from a Wataniya mobile you can listen to your messages for free. If you're not, you'll be charged at your normal call rate.

Wataniya's voicemail lets you do more than just listen to your voice messages. The Call Back service allows you to instantly call back the person who left you the voicemail. Just press '0' while listening to their message.
