Wataniya Telecom Maldives is the first to introduce Twitter MMS service to the Maldives, allowing customers to tweet both text and images from their mobile simply by sending an MMS.
To activate this service, type START and send it to 4040, and follow the instructions received via SMS from twitter. Once you are registered on the service, simply send images via MMS to 4040, to post them on Twitter
Twitter MMS service is available to all Wataniya packages, on handsets capable of sending MMS. Each MMS sent to 4040 will be charged 1Rf. Incoming SMS from twitter will be FREE.
